Just a reminder I will be running an NRC competition at the launch this weekend, Sunday. A quick reminder, NRC rules no longer require motor check in prior to flight so you can prep your models at home if you like. If anyone wants to fly Egg loft let me know and I will bring a few eggs, I won't have payloads to loan out though.

I have listed the launch for December 10th as a sport launch + NRC competition on the NAR website. I listed the waiver as 6500 ft with windows to 14500. Do I have that detail correct? I can easily correct if not. Also, we decide against Dec 10th I can easily change that too.

This contest will be sanctioned as an NRC competition, three of the NRC events are on the events list. All NRC events may be flown at this meet. Contestants wishing to fly A payload or C ELA must provide their own NAR compliant payloads and eggs. Stopwatches will be available.
Contest hours will be 10AM to 5PM Saturday and 9AM to 3PM Sunday. The contest will end promptly at 3PM Sunday.

Just to confirm I plan to sanction the September 17th Buder Park launch as an NRC meet. That's SUnday right?

OK, I propose we hold October Fly XVI on October 21-22. I will sanction this as an NRC (National Rocketry Competition) meet. We will conduct October Fly WITHIN the NRC sanction. If you have any events you'd like to suggest be included let me know. NRC includes the following contest events: 1/2A PD, 1/2A BG, C ELA, A HD, A SD, and A PAY. I propose choosing OF events from this list.
For location we can stick with Buder park unless we can get one of our high power launches to line up with this.

P.S. It all changes August 5th. No more regionals.
Just to let you know there will be a $10 entry fee for all participants. This will be applied to porta potty and field mowing expenses.

G Helicopter duration (NARAM 59 event)
C Altitude (Altimeter tracked, NARAM 59 event)
A Boost Glide
A Parachute duration
A Streamer duration
Set Duration, 55 sec target
Hope to see a contingent from SLRA attend. I will also work on setting up a group hotel. It won't be the Lamplighter most likely, I'll try to get something a little cheaper.

I have had further discussions with Gary Cole from the Springfield rocket club. The want to change the date to June 10-11 (one week later). Do we think that is still an acceptable date? Lets discuss at the club meeting.
