Take MO-79 to Highway JJ, the first intersection south of the town of Elsberry.
From this point, we should have signs up to guide you - but head east onto Old Missouri 79 (if you were coming north from the St. Louis area, this is a right turn) and continue straight onto the farm road where the main road takes another right turn.

From Dan Welling at 3:38 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 4th: The land owner just called. He said the roads are fine, but there will be muddy spots in the field. He gave us the thumbs up. Obviously, if we get more than just a little rain Thursday into Friday that could change things.
So, Saturday, December 7th is the date for our next high-power launch. This launch will be held at the Elsberry launch field (see map).

With the recent rain we are waiting for final permission from the landowner for our HPR Launch at Elsberry set for Saturday, Dec.7th.
The landowner thinks we have a pretty good chance to fly on Saturday. He will be contacted on Wednesday to see how his fields are drying out. If it is dry enough, then a little bit of rain on Thursday shouldn't hurt us.
We will send out a final update of go or no go on Wednesday. So stay tuned.

Weather Underground is showing about the same weather pattern for this weekend as it was earlier in the week. Saturday’s forecast is a little worse and Sunday’s forecast is a little better, with Saturday still being the much better day.
If we have enough interest in doing a High Power Rocket (HPR) launch on Saturday it will be a go.
If not, we will scrub the launch for this weekend and wait till Saturday, Dec. 7 for the next HPR launch at Elsberry (weather permitting).
Please respond to admin@stlouisrocketry.com whether or not you plan to fly HPR on Saturday. And do so ASAP.
Thank you;
Darrell Weber, SLRA Secretay
