The St. Louis Rocketry Association is the St. Louis metro area's rocketry club. We are affiliated with two highly respected national organizations, the National Association of Rocketry and the Tripoli Rocketry Association, Inc.
Our purpose is to provide a safe setting where people can have fun flying rockets together. We fly everything from simple sport rockets to large sophisticated models equipped with cameras, altimeters, and other electronic payloads.
We maintain two insured launch sites where we fly at least once a month, sometimes more, weather permitting. Our model rocket launches are held at Buder Park. High power launches are held at our Elsberry, Missouri site.
We also hold monthly business meetings to discuss club business. Newcomers are always welcome and invited to join. Hope to see you at our next event.
John McGuire from the St. Louis Post Dispatch attended our March 2003 launch at Elsberry and wrote three stories about the launch. Follow the links to read all about it.
