Gene Kranz giving insider Saturn V memories at our Cub Scout/Boy Scout contest at the main field in Forest Park on Saturday. Janna was helping with sound as Gene talked to the kids, parents and scout leaders. A really fun event and Gene signed a few kid's rockets while he was there. Later the top 3 Cub Scouts were given certificates signed by Gene and a clear crystal plaque with a piece of foil which flew to the moon on Apollo 11 donated by the Bonne Terre Space Museum. Gene really lit up when he saw the kids flying rockets. What a great day.
